01 - Begin at the marine park
From Watamu, the route starts at Watamu Marine Park aboard a glass-bottom boat, allowing guests to see marine life through the boat; guests who want to may snorkel. Guests starting in Malindi begin at Malindi Marine Park, including snorkeling. Exact arrangements are confirmed for the starting point.
02 - Follow the tide through the coastal stages
On the usual Watamu route, continue to Sardegna 2 / Island of Love, then follow the tide to the shallow-water and coastal lunch/beach stage before Garoda Beach and Mida Creek. Sardegna 2 is a heart-shaped, tide-dependent atoll and sandbank, not a permanent conventional island. When a seasonal whale and dolphin viewing trip is operating, the trip goes directly to the marine wildlife-viewing area instead; this seasonal trip replaces Sardegna 2 / Island of Love rather than being automatically included alongside it. Whale and dolphin trips are seasonal and sightings cannot be guaranteed. Ask Settimo during planning to confirm whether they are currently being seen and whether the trip is suitable for your dates. Outside the operating period, the wildlife stage is not offered and Sardegna 2 forms part of the usual route.
03 - Continue into Mida Creek
The route continues through Mida Creek to Sudi Island for the seafood-lunch stage, then into the mangrove area. Local-wood walkways and bridges let visitors explore the mangroves on foot. Canoe trips are among the wider Mida Creek experiences; canoe hire or a canoe trip is not stated as included in the combined experience.

The established seafood meal at Sudi Island includes grilled seafood, coconut rice, octopus cooked in coconut stew and crab cooked in coconut stew. Guests starting from Malindi may continue from Sardegna 2 and combine the day with Mida Creek; road transport for the Malindi connection or return is coordinated as necessary.
