A five-day safari circuit from the Kenya Coast through Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli and Taita Hills, returning through Tsavo East before the coast.
The itinerary
DAY 01
Coast → Tsavo East → Tsavo West
Depart from the coast at 05:00 and reach Tsavo East around 10:30 for game viewing until 13:00, then continue to Tsavo West. After lunch and rest, the afternoon drive begins at 16:00 and continues to sunset.
DAY 02
Tsavo West → Amboseli
Depart at 06:30 for the morning in Tsavo West, then leave for Amboseli around 10:30. Arrive at the lodge around 12:00 for lunch and rest, followed by an afternoon game drive at 15:00 until sunset.
DAY 03
Amboseli → Taita Hills
Depart at 06:30 for game viewing in Amboseli until around 09:00, then continue to Taita Hills. Arrive around 11:30 for game viewing until about 13:00; after lunch and rest, an afternoon drive at 16:00 continues to sunset. Return around 18:30 for dinner. The ranger-led night drive runs from 20:30 to 22:30.
DAY 04
Taita Hills → Tsavo East
Depart at 06:30 for a Taita Hills morning drive until around 10:30, then continue to Tsavo East. Arrive at the entrance around 11:00 for game viewing. After lunch and rest, the afternoon drive begins at 16:00 and continues to sunset.
DAY 05
Tsavo East → coast
Depart at 06:30 for a final Tsavo East morning drive until 11:00, then return toward the coast, arriving around 13:00 for lunch.
